Ohlson 60
A friend inhereted and old Ohlson 60 spark ignition engine from his dad and he's looking for info about it. He is not a modeler so I'm helping him out here.
Is it collectable and if so, how much is it worth today.
It is in good condition and turns over smoothly.

Best source is the Anderson Blue Book. It's pretty much the bible on model engines, old and new.
You probably don't want to buy one$). Check around to see if any local modelers have a copy you could look at. Here is a listing for the book from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Andersons-Blue.../dp/B0006QIFUU. Frank Anderson is the author, and for many years had a booth at the major trade shows. He's also a great all around guy! Good luck, Greg

As sparkies go this is a common one so only has limited collector interest. It has the large exhaust stack so is a later example. Ebay as always is the best test of value but I would say around $100
