Default Looking for name and plans

Hi all

I found this picture on Old Timers RC on Facebook and am looking for the name of this plane as well as the plans if anyone has them. I love building the stuff that few others would try and that one doesn't often see on the Old Timers circuit. Any help out there????

Yeah, I love the "wave" in the wings, totally different.

Surely someone in the old timer fraternity knows what it's called or has plans for it...

I'm probably wrong but it looks like a model called the Spook.

It might help in the search if you could tell us where you got this picture from? I tried a reverse image search with no luck...

Hi foodstick, it was posted on a group on Facebook, either "old timer rc" or "vintage model planes", it can also be found in images if searching for "gull wing model planes"

ah, I am not on facebook, I wonder if there is a chance it could have been a one of a kind build or kit bash?

Well after many hours of research I have finally found some answers. This was a once off design built by Dave Protheros. Exactly when it was built I was not able to determine as the site that apparently had all the info on it died along with the owner of that site, however a friend has told me that during his search for plans and info he discovered somewhere that this was not actually an old timer and was built around 2010, no confirmation on this though but the machinery and the aluminum case on the floor in the workshop I feel would rather put it into the later late 90's to early 2000's . There is also no information on the name of the model. Here's a picture of how the wing was built...

Looks like I'll just have to design my own around the picture of this one, one day it will be an old timer
