ID:	2255067Hi Guys I have just finished building a Tomboy 36 and covered in opaque Solartex, im trying to mask the curves same as the picture ive included but unfortunately I dont seem to be having much luck with the Tamiya tape?? I bought 10mm & 6mm, 10mm is to wide, 6mm slightly too wide to get the tight curves I need so I bought some 2mm Tamiya Tape for curves I can finally get the tight curves needed but unfortunately the thin 2mm tape doesnt stick to the solartex very well and lifts off??
Really appreciate your help please!!!

I use 3M fine line vinyl tape. 1/8" for tighter curves and 1/4" for straight lines and gentle curves. Automotive paint shop is probably the best place to find it.

I use the 3m fine line tape as well. The way I get around curves is to stretch the tape slightly with my right hand, then push it down as it goes around the curve with my left finger. You'll have to find a way to keep your plane anchored while you do this unless you have 4 hands.
