Old Magazines wanted
We are trying to find the Dec. 1976 and the Feb 1977 issues of Model Airplane News. Who has them and would care to part with them? My son and I are working on the C.A.M. Racer in the February issue, and I need the Dec. '76 issue for the Curare article, my favorite airplane. Your help would be much appreciated!

I dunno who exactly did the plans and reduction work but all measurements are off. A simple diameter for tire works OK if on main gear, but no too well for nose gear. The cited landing gear movements are to wrong size and angle. I had the real items in hand and found this out right away.
The text in the article tends to wander a bit too. May be useless.
You may be better off using them only as a guide, not gospel. Mine flew straight as intended back when. Design is OK the plans are junk.
