Cant help with a kit , but theres not much cutting in a 1/2A ugly stick.
That said theres a plan posted in 1/2A called a DNU -Dats Not Ugly for cox motors.

I'm not sure which new Cox motors you have but RCM sells plans for a 1/2A Ugly Stick. I think it was designed for a TeeDee but its been awhile since I've seen the plans. It was however designed to use the constant chord foam wing sets that Ace used to sell. Not sure if those are still available.
