Default Bantam-O&R-OK Engines info needed.

Hi there fellas, I just came upon some old engines that an old friend had who passed away. His wife wants rid of them and i'm not sure what they are worth. They all look complete except the Bantam seems to be missing the ignition assembly in front. The Bantam is about 2 3/4'' high and looks to be about 15 size. The O&R is about 3'' high and close to the same size, maybe a 19. The other is an OK Super 60 and seems in great shape. I would appreciate any advice on the value on these so she will know what to ask for them.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Try getting in contact with the MECA (Model Engine Collectors Association). If you plan on taking a trip to the Toledo show April 7, 8, or 9, you could stop at their booth.
The only address I have for them is Bob McClelland, 3007 Travis St, West Lake, La 70669. If you write, might be nice to send a SASE.

That may be the best thing to do to find the values of them. The last old O&R i had was sold about 40 years ago before i went into the service, been 2 and 4 stroke ever since then.
I'll try to contact someone where you suggested and possibly can send them some photos to look at. Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

I stopped at their booth last year with an old engine I picked up cheap as part of a batch for $20.00, and not only did I get an idea of its price, but was also directed to another booth where I was able to purchase a couple missing parts. Very nice people.

I don't think i will make it this year due to things at home but i will try to contact MECA and see if they can give me any info. I just retired last year and got stuck watching the sick mother in law while the wife still works. But i do have a lot of time to build in the shop since this happened so it's not all bad. I finished five planes and two helis since then and looking for something else to build again. Maybe my Waco YMF or the Aeronca from PICA might be next. So i thank you for all the info you gave me, much appreciated. Happy skies to ya.
