Searched, searched, and searched again and again...so I'll ask. Has anyone built the SRE from [link=http://www.kitcutters.com/Nov/NovWacoSRE.htm]Kitcutters[/link]?

Would love to see pics and here about build/hurdles/pros/cons. Would love to tackle a kit over winter, but not ready to go scratch built.

Have a GP YMF and fell in love.

Hello All,

I haven't finished reading over what I've missed in the last couple years, but I noticed a few posts that were saying the the House of Moy site was not functional.

I changed hosting providers earlier this year and it appears that it broke some of the links. I wanted to let you know that the site is (and has been) available.

http://www.houseofmoy.com/waco/

Not the LOWER CASE (er...lower case) 'waco'. For some reason the link won't work if it's upper case. I'll try to address that at some point.

I apologize that this has caused some confusion.

My focus has been elsewhere for a few years, but as my son gets a bit older I'm starting to spend more time on RC again. I am available to make updates to the site if any are necessary, just shoot me an email.

Regards,
Chris

Welcome back to the Hanger Chris.

Glad to hear you are doing well and getting back into RC. Life does have a way of getting interupted once in a while. My saved link still works (Just tried it) but I did have a problem for a while a few months back so no worries. I'll have an updated sources list for you soon, need to double check the links. As you can guess some sources are gone and a couple of new ones have been added.

Has anyone put a DLE engine in a 1/5 PICA. I recently found a NIB kit and was wonderin if the rear carb on these engines caused any problems.

I've got a DLE30 in a 1/5th scale Ikon kit of a UPF7 which is the same overall size of the Pica kit. Unflown as yet, but the reputation of the rear mount is said to be more reliable than the old side mount carb. Major drawback I see is the amount of the cowl that needed to be cut away for cylinder clearance.

That is one fine looking aircraft there yel914. That is why I chose the RCGF. If I had known of JTec at the time I would have nothing but the plug wire sticking out. Was not sure to begin with if it could handle it. But now I know. Handle's it quite well.

There are 7 XL and 3 M shirts still available. PM or post and I'll hold them until I receive the order in the mail.
I have an order for Mr. McCleary but I somehow misplaced his information. Does anyone know his handle so I can PM him? Bill?
Thanks, Mitch WB100

I hope to not start an email storm but I do want to thank Mitch for getting us some wonderful T-Shirts. Previously when others have commented on this thread about the shirts I have held back because I did not want to add to the traffic without adding to the content. This time it is important everyone who did not get a shirt realizes what a bargain they missed. Just got mine in the mail and WOW!!!!

Thanks again for all the work and an awesome looking shirt.
