Hay Dan. I think I read somewhere back in the is mile long thread that you submitted the corrected wing and fuselage 1/5 scale plans to AMA. I found them on the AMA page, but do these show all the modifications you did to the original kit wing?

John,
I worked with Bill and reworked the wings to a closer scale look. I have the templates I can email them to you they don’t come with the AMA plans. I’ll look back and see if I can find the page there on.

Thanks Dan. I have paper copies of the ribs you sent me some time ago, but I cant remember the last time I had my kit out a studied the plans to make a comparison of the original and modified wing. I just thought the submitted plans showed the changes. But the location of you wing build in this thread would make for a quicker reference..... Just sayin'
No big deal.....

John

Dan - "Brotherhood" should be one word. Didn't even notice it as two words on the sample tee - you have sharp eyes.

Hello all,
I have made the changes and think every thing looks good but please let me know if you see anything I have missed. I wasn't happy not seeing the tires on the background so I lightened them up and will work with the printer until we get them to show. The guys at Customink.com have been vary helpful.

Yes, good catch on the tires.

The W and A in WACO PHOENIX PROJECT still appear further apart than the other letters.

The second one has larger lettering, looks a bit better even though the font is more 'casual' (no serif). I wouldn't worry about it too much ... a few more days of comparing pictures and fonts and you won't be able to look at another drawing!

What program are you using? If it's Photoshop, there are a couple of ways you can adjust kerning. Either highlight the word, then hold down the Alt key (Windows) and use the left-right cursor keys to adjust kerning for the whole word. To do individual letters, just put the cursor between the letters you want to adjust and do the same - hold down Alt and use left-right cursor to adjust.

Assuming you can figure out the kerning, I like the serif font better.
