The unaltered pic is better. The prop hub fills the center cowl, not so empty. It has a cleaner look to it, not so pixilated.

Need to lighten up the WACO in the wings, too dark. You are getting closer.

Better. I think it could be a little lighter so it will show on the shirt when printed.

Go back to the gold wings and darken the WACO a bit (too Blue). The unaltered pict. in post 17982 is the closest. The WACO could be halfway between 17982 and 17984 in brightness.

Bill I while reading through the posts I came across this one (rather dated) but wanted to comment on it. I have found that most of the "new" generation do want instant gratification. I love to build. There is nothing better than to look at something that people admire and say I built that from the ground up. I have sat back and gloated while people have "admired" the Harleys I have built, wanted to know where did I buy that awesome rod at the strip, and wow "who makes that plane"? For me there is nothing better for my ego. I just wish everyone would/could experience the feeling.

Hello all
It looks like the tee shirts will cost 15.96 each plus shipping. If you would like to have your name added to the list PM me with your order. If anyone can get them made up for less I will supply you with the art work. The price I have is for an order of 50 the more we order the cheaper they cost.

Dan, first thanks to both you and Robert for Sat. -DON'T GET OLD-, the shirt looks great remember it' only a representation of what the brotherhood is about MODELING so the picture of a model I believe is a proper depiction. One way or another it will get the shirts done. Do you plan on using the yellow for the shirt color or did I miss something.

Well done Dan, thanks for your hard work on this project. Can you please verify what the process is for printing on the T shirts. The original tan shirts were very comfortable. The 2nd generation maroon shirts had some rubbery printed artwork that was so uncomfortable I hated to wear them. I'd definitely be up for more shirts if the printing was like the first run.

Hello all. Sorry to have been absent so much in the last few months, but the health issues are still with me. I have another procedure on Thursday the 26th. I love what Dan has done with the shirts. Put me down for a couple size large. I am not able to do justice to the thread at this juncture, so I'm turning the reins over to Dan. I know that he will do his absolute best to keep doing as he has been during my absence. As I become able (hopefully) I will try to participate in the thread. That will be in the capacity as a Brother. I am planning to participate as a Judge at Top Gun again this year, but that's a couple of months out. Time will tell.

Please give Dan your full backing as do I.
As always,
Bill, Waco Brother #1

Dan,

Great job on the shirts. Good to see them come around again and I like the new design as well. I believe I am already on the list, but just in case...I am in for two XXL shirts. Thanks for the hard work!

Hello to all the WACO fans,

I'm new to this thread but have been a WACO YMF fan for many years. I had the good fortune to fly a restored 1936 WACO from the front seat at Gulf Shores Alabama some years back. Quite a thrill. I have owned two Pica 1/5 scale WACO's over the years and am curently working on a Barth 1/3 scale WACO YMF 5. I still have to rig the flying wires, tail feather bracing, install the radio, smoke tank and pump, wind shields and some more detailing. At present, I have installed a new DLE 111, (hope its going to be enough power) Like everyone else, I sure would like to have a big radial up front but cost is a bit high.
I have enclosed a few photos of the progres so far.
Also, I would like to become a member of the WACO Brotherhood.

Thanks,

Doug
