Quique can certainly handle the sticks! A good friend of mine from Desert Aircraft Australia has had a big influence in the organizing of the SHOOT-OUT (run by DA ) and he has had a bit to do with Quique over the years. It looks as if he fly's the Jets the same way that he fly's his IMAC models!!
I will post some pics of my friends models when I remember to take my camera around to his place.

Happy Birthday/Anniversary!
And thank you for not only starting it, but staying with it through the years to make it what it is today. It's a very enjoyable place to hang out and holds a wealth of information!
Thank you,
Mike

Thank you Bill for initiating this thread, so full of information that has helped so many build such a beautiful aircraft has created so many long distance friendships.

Dan, Bob Curry called yesterday. We are going to start Static Judging on Thursday afternoon and continue all day on Friday. We've got a full plate with Team and Unlimited this year. I'd imagine Expert and Masters are in the same boat. Maybe spreading it out over 2 days will make it less hectic.

Bill, congrats on 10 year anniversary of the trend. it sure has given me an education, hope it goes another 10 years we may not be here but what a legacy for those who are. Top Gun, hope to see all in the brotherhood who attend. Dan as it draws closer I'll be in contact. Bill glad to hear you will be judging again this year.

I'll continue to judge for as long as Frank wants me and my health allows. Right now, I'm just trying to regain some strength. My weight has stabilized at 178 pounds which is a far cry from the 250ish that I once weighed. I feel that I look like I've been in a concentration camp. At least I'm still vertical and ventilating.

Well hade a great time yesterday, 5 members from our club visited another club for some flying, eating and a catch up with old friends along with meeting new ones. The weather decided to turn bad but not before I was able to post a flight with the big yellow Waco. The old girl got the best scale trophy and I was humbled by the cheers and clapping when we performed the best greaser of a landing in trying conditions. It is most rewarding when you receive a lot of accolades from fellow modellers after spending many years ( would you believe eight ) building your baby! I cant wait to see what Peter Barth is about to release next and I'm flat out saving for my MOKI 250 . If I was to put it in the Waco I would strip her back to the bare bones or sell her off after getting another from Peter if I did not fancy his next creation.

Congrats tmac on winning best scale wish I could have seen that landing you greased in got to be a good feeling. Maybe you can get someone in your club to get a video sometime.
Thanks guys, there wasn't a lot of competition, just a great bunch of like minded people enjoying the sport of flying radio controlled model airplanes! As I have already stated it was a very relaxed and rewarding day. I will certainly try and get a vid of the Waco as soon as I can.

Uh oh # 99. Doctor has suspended my driving privileges until further notice. This means I won't be able to drive to Top Gun, so no judging (this year anyway). Janelle will be driving me down on Saturday to visit. This ain't fun.
