Default Orline Deweyville Special

Hello, Can anyone out there help me? I am looking for a kit from Orline Models called the Deweyville Special. I had one about 15 years ago and it was a great flying airplane. I would also be interested in a set of plans if someone might only have that. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanx
Nevin

Hello , I am new to group and catching up on forum - hence late reply.

did you get copy of plans?

I should still have my copy somewhere and will search if you still want them. I am in UK.

My Special flew quite nicely with an Irvine 61 until I pulled up while inverted near the ground !!!

I'm new to the group as well and trying to find where I might be able to get a set of plans for the Deweyville Special. I received the kit for my 45th Birth Day. It was purchased at a garage sale however it didn't come with the plans to lay it out on. I've been searching High and Low. This encuraged me to buy a Nexstar Trainer for Christmas to get a better idea of the concepts to attempt building the plane without specs. Scarry!

Hello Nevin,

Congradulations on your sucess! I received the same kit for my 45th birthday. It was bought at a garage sale and the plans were missing. Just got back into the R/C Hobbie. Sure would like to build it! Would you mind if I could bother you for your contact info or would you be willing to part with a copy? New to this site, thanks Dave!

Hi Folks, I'm new to this forum, but you guys seem to really know your stuff.
I have an eBay store (lenkat24) and get R/C planes from time to time. Most are vintage kits still in the original boxes and sell from $150-$400. Nearly all are out of circulation or discontinued.

Anyway, I came across a Orline Fokker D.VII (kit OL 781) in perfect condition. It has the 72" winspan, ABS Cowl, pilot & guns.

My only problem is that there are no Plans or Instruction manual. I have scoured the internet & made a ton of calls with no luck. Then someone suggested you folks. By reading your posts, it looks like I found a new home.

Does anyone have any ideas of where I could find the plans or manual for this kit??

Thanks you for your time!

Thanks for the info on your stocking of ventage aircraft assemblies. We'll keep you in mind. I can't help you with your plan search however im sure you found the right place to find what your looking for. I found someone who could help me retrieve a set of plans for my Deweyville Special. I was shocked to hear back from him the same day I regestered on this Universe. Previously I had been searching everywhere to no avail.
Thanks R/C Universe and Fellow Modlers!

As I recall, one of the problems with the plans you are looking for is that they are 42" wide, so a trip to Kinko's just won't solve the problem since they are limited to 36" rolls. What are you asking for the kit without plans?

Hi,
Actually the I put the plane up on eBay & it sold today for $179.00 WITHOUT the plans.
I made sure the buyer knew there were no plans or instructions & that was fine. The last one he bought WITH plans, cost hi $249.95.
If anyone has one of these, you may want to look at selling it.

Thank folks, I appreciate all the help & feedback.
Regards
