Default Dallaire Sportster 108 " question

I am nearing completion of a Dallaire kit with the 108" wing. When I checked the location of the dowels in the fuselage for the rubber bands to hold the wing, the rubber band must be enormous to stretch that far! Much larger than a standard number 64. What size rubber bands are you using for wing attachment? It's been a great build, but I am at a complete loss about this, not having built an old timer this size before.
Thanks for your help, I am ready for final assembly and covering - I just need to know about the wing attachment.

Simply tie enough #64's together to achieve the desired length.
