Default Goldberg Skylane 62 Plans

Back at the beginning of July I was looking at Tower's site and saw the Skylane 62 ARF for sale for around $100. I always wanted a kit from when they first came out in the '60's, but never did get one. My wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told her a Skylane 62. She said go for it so I decided to wait until the following Monday. When I went to place my order, they were discontinued.

Since the only alternative is to scratch build one, anyone have a set of original kit plans from the '60's they want to sell?

Thanks

Charlie

I think Bill K. will tell you that there are ones of different eras.

The earliest ones did not use foam as much as the latter ones did.

CoosBayLumber,

Plan wise, what I am looking for, is a set from the original kit, back in the '60's. Did the ARF have foam wings?

Thanks

Tim,

Thanks for the info. One is on it's way! However, I will still continue to search for a set of original plans.

I have the plan ( I hope ) for the Goldberg 42" skylane kit from the 60's. I think they were very similar kits.

It scaled up nicely to 84" for 40 size 4 stroke engines. The Cessns wing is a very nice shape to see in the air.

If you have no success getting the 62" plan and would like to borrow the 42" plan let me know

John

John,

Thanks for the offer. I have someone checking on a set of Skylane 62 plans at the moment. We'll see what happens
