Do you mean "Comet" Sailplane

according to the reprint below, it is a Comet.... Maybe CG bought em?..anybody know its true history.

It was designed and prototyped by Carl Goldberg.. as it says in the Comet ad posted here. He was the chief designeer for Comet from 1939 to 1945.

I didn't know this....and is great info... No wonder The comet line of kits were so loved....My fav was always the 54" Aeronca Chief rubber powered...but I converted all mine to Rc with various power types .049, .10 etc

ever seen the exact templates for the ranger 42 wing?
