It's all a bit experimental.

I bought a Go-Pro with a chest harness... and it's quite good, because it allows me to film my own activities.

But, you need to select Wide Angle, if you are going to catch the action this way.

The problem is that, with Wide Angle selected, objects seem very distant ... which is why you couldn't see the Snipe when it was flying into the distance. When the Snipe "went for me", some of the visual impact was lost, owing to the Wide Angle lens. That model was really close.

I have a lot to learn. I never owned a camera until 4 or 5 years ago, when I was nearly 50 years of age.
