CG Range of Tower Hobbies 40 Almost Ready to Cover Trainer
Bill,
Wondering if you could provide me with the correct CG range of the Tower Hobbies 40 Almost Ready to Cover Trainer. This is the older model that came with the plastic wingtips, horizontal stab tips and vertical stab tip. I've seem to have misplaced my manual.
TIA

Sorry, but that's not it. The version I have is an older model that I purchased new around 1998. It was sold as an ARC, Almost ready to cover. Have moved a couple of times since then and can't find my manual.

If no one turns up a manual the standard cog for a parallel cord wing trainer is at 25% of the wing cord with no fuel in the tank

Seamus,
I had heard about that, but I'm looking as to how far back I can go also. I've taught quite a few people how to fly with this plane using a buddy box. Recently in a move the vertical stab broke off so I replaced it and put tri-stock on each side to reinforce, so you can see that I've added weight to the tail. By the way, before this last repair, out of all of my planes, combat, 4 * 40, H9 Ultra Stick, this is the one that would do the absolute best tail slide. It was a sight to see.

If you send us an email for the original 1992 Tower Trainer, we can send an electronic copy of the assembly instructions for the ARF, and the covering instructions for the RTC. Same airplane. You got both sets when you bought the RTC.
