Default GP UltraSport Nose Weight

I'm building the US40 Arf, and the CG called for is 4" from the LE. I have placed the RX battery in back of the cowl(as far as I can get it forward), and still have had to add 1 1/2 oz stick on weight and a Higley heavy hub spinner. Is this within spec? I don't want the airplane to fly like a piggy! Also, it seems to weigh in@ 6-7 lbs. with a OS FX.46. Is this OK?

Any and all info on proper set up for this plane would be appreciated.

Default RE: GP UltraSport Nose Weight

The intended weight was 5.25-6.0 pounds. A little over won't hurt anything. Weight it accurately to see where it comes in.

Adding a few ounces to the nose or tail is a normal process when balancing any model.
