Bummer - screw holes stripped on tail boom clamp
First time I have even tried to access them - was going to tighten up my tail boom at the frame, and found out that, well first, they are Phillips head, not socket head screws (what's this cheap move!) - then find out that 3 of the 4 screw holes are stripped out FROM THE FACTORY!
Well, what should I do - call the factory? Try some longer socket head screws?

It's an easy fix. Heli-max using machine screws in plastic was a bit short-sighted on their part. I've since replaced all my frame screws with these [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD973&P=7]Dubro #2x3/8 screws[/link] and they work great. The heads will even work with a 2mm allen wrench as well as the recommended 5/64 wrench. You need 16 screws in total for the frame which is nice because they come 8 to a package.

Thanx Heliko - I wasn't looking forward to no heli for a while if they offered to swap it out! I want to replace all screws with socket head!

Well, to update - I have not received ANY response from HeliMax regarding the stripped screw holes.
