Axe cp mainshaft replacement help
Hey all.
Since my last unintended meeting with the ground, the axe has been collecting dust.
I started to rebuild it, but ran into a snag replaceing the main gear and shaft, so it collected more dust.
I finally ordered the parts I need and expect to see them today.
I've had the thing apart for so long, I'm having trouble remembering the placement of the collers on the mainshaft.[sm=confused.gif] In the parts list in the book they are #30.
I remember where the collar with the setscrew goes, just haveing trouble with the other 2 thin collars.
Does one go ontop of the collar with the set screw, and one under the main gear, between the gear and bearing?
Thanks

Here is the manual on line. The thin one's go between the collar with the set screw and the bearing on top and on the bottom between the main gear and the bearing.

RE: Axe cp mainshaft replacement help
Exactly what I needed.
Thanks.
I looked at my manual and the one online and it was'nt very clear.
I'm looking forward to getting the ol axe flying again as I was just getting into forward flight and nose in hovering when the accident happened.
Thanks again.

Don't ask how I know from memory how the bushing go. I think I can do it in my sleep now. Glad the Hobby Shack near me has all of the parts.
