Rotofly Underpowered?
Hi all:
I purchased a Rotofly a few months back. This is my first heli and I am still learning. The Rotofly seems to be extremly underpowered and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. The highest I have ever got it is probably 1 foot of the ground and that is at full throttle, and it won't stay that high for more then a few seconds. Wondering if there is anything I can do to solve this, or maybe I should just buy another heli. I was looking at the CP Pro, but not sure if I am quite ready for that yet.
Thanks!

RE: Rotofly Underpowered?
The battery lasts for 10-15 minutes of flying, or trying to fly. It is possible to have a battery that is just not putting out enough power even though the battery can still hold a charge?

I think you should call or write Helimax service dept. & see what they say. Several things can cause a heli not to have much lift, but have duration of running. You can learn alot of lessons about flying with that heli. Doc
