axe 400 tail rotor problem
Hi everybody !
I'm from Switzerland so I hope you will understand my english
My axe 400 tail rotor always blow up !! The tail rotor grips (that attach to the metal hub) always loosened. So I put some thread lock (blue) but now the
screw holding the grip always cut...
That's the eight times it happens... I can't do more than 2 flights until the tail blow up, resulting in a lot of damages...
So I'm bored with this heli.. The parts seem to be of bad plastic quality...
So my question : is it possible to exchange parts from a trex 450 (the parts that fail in my axe 400 -> tail grips, tail pitch slider etc...) ?
Thank you very much for switzerland !!!!

RE: axe 400 tail rotor problem
Hi !
I've changed tail rotor grips...I've bought the trex 450 plastic tail grips and I flew this morning with no problems
The trex 450 part seem to be much stronger than the axe 400 part...
Seems that there should be no more problems in the future.. will see
This bird flies so great with a 401 gyro and digital tail servo...
Regards !
Alex

so, wonder if I can change the tail boom and tail rotor all to t-rex. Have you had trouble with that belt bearing yet? located under the canopy.
