Default GY 520 in an AXE CP??

Anyone know if I can do the "Gyro-Option" in the AXE CP manual with a GY520 instead of the GY240. I only ask because I have the 520 laying around right now. I'm using a Spektrum 6110 Rx and a DX6i setup with the stock 3-1. It flies pretty well, but I just can't get the stock tail to settle down.

Thanks,
G.

I don't know of any reason why not. Be the first and let us know.

A $200 gyro on a $140 helicopter. Cool!

I'm going to set it to analog, and go for it. Thanks,

Page 12 of the 520 manual says . . . "not to attempt to fly the GY520 using a wire driven tail rotor system". Anyone know what that means? Does "wire-driven" mean "motor-driven". If so we may be out of luck as I would hate to fry the gyro.
