Default Need Sceadu 50 Canopy help!

Hi all,

I am a relative newby to helis. I have been flying a TREX 450 and my Sceadu 50. LOVE them both.

Starting to walk (in the crawl/walk/run scheme) and need a little help.

Forward flight is going well and I have been starting loops, flips, piros and stall turns with both helis.

The TREX 450 canopy is great. EZ to see.

My Sceadu is harder to see even though it fliles SO much better. It looks just like the one on the kit box- white with stickers.

MAINTAINING ORIENTATION FOR A ROOKIE CAN BE A TRICK SOMETIMES!!!

I have found plain white in plastic and fiberglass and a couple of high $ custom painted ones. They look great and perhaps one day I will get one, but right now, while I am still learning and prone to dumb thumbs I would like something cheaper.

SO THE REAL QUESTION IS THIS:

Anyone have any ideas on a canopy (Hirobo, Sceadu, Align, or otherwise)?

I think a TREX 600E canopy can be made to fit.

I JUST NEED SOMETHING THAT IS A LITTLE EASIER TO SEE!!!!

Thanks in advance,

R21

Go to your LHS and purchase some sheets of Monocote trim in the colors you want and cut your own design and just stick them on the bare white canopy. Be sure to wash the canopy with warm soap and water to get the oil residue off. I have used this method for over 15yrs. I suggest you use some day glow orange in your design just like the pros do.
