Default Battery charge question for TX

Hi I never turned my TX on and I charged it for 36 hours because the light on the charger didn't go out (it never did, I just stopped charging after that) and the screen shows 8.6 V or 100% if you touch it. Is anything wrong?

Wall wart chargers dont stop automatically, but they charge at a very low current so unless you leave it on there for days you wont hurt anything.

The charger provided is not a peak detect charger.
