y harness on channel 7
can Channel 7 be used as the second rudder servo using a y harness? I need 2 channels for aileron 1 channel for throttle 2 channels for elevator and 2 channels for rudder. Did not know if you could plug the battery in channel 7 and still use it. Using Aurora 9 and seven channel receiver. Maybe I need to buy the 9 channel receiver.

If you use a Y harness you don't use another channel, or you plug them into separate channels and mix them electronically.
You can plug the battery into any open slot on the reciever, or run a Y harness with the battery and a servo.
