Hi,
How do I update the aurora 9 to firmware v1.08 without the HPP-22?
I have a micro SD slot in my computer.

Aurora 9 does not have a removable micro SD card.
All updates to Aurora, Spectra 2.4GHz module & Optoma transceivers is via the HPP-22 interface only.

when I purchase the HPP-22 does it come with the cables and stuff or I need something more?

HPP-22 2.4GHz Programmer - One additonal cable is required (USBA<>MiniB 5 pin which most households will already have plenty e.g. often supplied with portable HDD, Camera etc. - refer attached picture)
