Default hs-55 jerky

I've got a few foamies, all with the Hi-tec 55 servos. All the servos work great when new, but after a hundred flights or so, they start to act funny. I now have 3 that jerk around with no tension on the surface. If you barely touch the arm, it jerks all over the place. The servo is the problem, as I change the location of the servo, the problem stays with the servo. They cannot be used, they flutter around as you try to fly. Can these servos be fixed? How much?
Thanks

Sounds like you may have damaged the gear-trains or the potentiometers are simply worn or damaged...

Sooo.... Is it worth fixing them, or are they only good for parts? The gear sets are fine. Actually, I replaced the gear-sets to see if it made them better. They are the same. Could the cold weather have worn them prematurely? Servos better last more than 100 battery flights. I fly 100 flights in 2 weeks.
