RE: HFP-10 Programmer Upgrade Program?
ORIGINAL: rcgood So the HFP-10 won't work at all with the new 7 series servos? Not even to program end points and center?
Hitec Servo Programmer - upgradeable?

RE: HFP-10 Programmer Upgrade Program?
Sorry for the confusion... the HFP-10 will "work" with the 7XXX series servos just as if they were 5XXX servos but cannot set the EPA's past 90 degrees (high resolution mode) or activate the overload protection.

RE: HFP-10 Programmer Upgrade Program?
Mike, I also have a v 1.03 programmer and from what I read, if I send it in, HITEC will upgrade the firmware at no cost?
This next question is a bit off topic but still about the programmer. Ever since I have had mine, every time I use it it's dead. So, I connected an ammeter between the battery and the unit. On, the unit measures around 23ma and off, .0775ma. In other words, even with the switch off it's drawing a bit of power. Should it do this? I don't use it that much and have a NiMH battery pack in it. Those batteries will sit on a shelf a long time before going dead so I am assuming that the small draw of power when off is draining it. Ideas?
