any strength differences?

Well, I haven't torn into it yet, but I just got back from breaking: rear shock cap, front front (outer) arm brace (broken), front (center) lower arm brace (bent), front bulkhead, and I finished breaking my wheelie bar......
Thus me looking for a cheap bulkhead, why the heck doesn't HPI sell stuff more separately? I'll have 1000 extra parts by the end of the year....oh well.
Re-watching the video it was totally my fault, equivalent to running into a brick wall at like 25mph [:@][:@][&:]

hey i did the exact same thing to my x last year. hit a fence in the air. somebody should make thicker hinge pin braces. i remember someone on here a while back was making them or had the made and they were very thick and had blind holes in the so the pin couldn't walk out at all. hopefully something like this will show up in the aftermarket

they look similar, but they are at completely different angles [:@][:@]
looks like the flux one is an "upgrade part" to better hold onto the diffs for high horsepower....but maybe it's just a gimmick? I dunno....

also found a bent shock shaft over $3.70 per shaft?! [:@][:@]
no more jumping for me...way too expensive.

What are you jumping? I learned/learning on a plastic bike jump, like the ones in the horizonhobby review on youtube. I use two or three side-by side.

Holy POOP!
No wonder. You're probably getting some huge air off of that.
If you like to jump, try getting some plastic ones. They don't lunch it into infinity and beyond, but they give you a good idea of how it handles in the air.
Looks like a ton of fun though!

i'm trying to find a video editing software for HD .mov files, the few I've tried on windows are way too laggy on .mov Can't hog my gf's macbook everytime I wanna edit a video, and my desktop is way more powerful anyway.

Yea we dont use the wheelie bar when at the BMX track.....no point in having it on.

As far as the shocks go, we bent one I believe 2nd or 3rd time out so picked up some big bores. Havent had a problem yet.

Looks like you just need to pick more of an open spot on that track.....and maybe controlling the truck a bit too.

My 15 yr old has gotten better at it, can land them 90% of the time.

I can do decent backflips and land them on regular jumps, but the nearly vertical jumps with nearly vertical landings and short jump distance had quite a learning curve to them. If you want to hit the landing you only need like 1/10 throttle, but where is the fun in that? [&:]
Shoulda tried to clear 2 at once....haha, that woulda had more broken stuff.

i totally killed the body on my xl today landing on it after hitting a rock getting shot about 10 feet in the air then cartwheeling a heap of times
