Especially if you like oil sprayed on the front of your savage.

Are th ERCM pipes really any good ??

I can see that they would be loud.... but I find it hard to believe that a pipe made with a design that looks to have come about because they don`t have equipment to shape it correctly could be better than the accepted standard such as RB/Nova.

!! just saying, I`m thinking of trying a diffrent pipe on my Picco team turbo 28 buggy... I currently use a RB 086 which is super light(and thin), how much does the ERMC stainless thing wiegh ?

LOL "most" people would run an exhaust deflector

Machine, this design has been around since before nitro cars even existed, boaters have been using them for over 50 years, if there was a better design, they would use that! My pipes are different in the fact I designed them to make power from bottom to top, not just in a certain RPM like boats use as they are WOT all the time. You may even see one over there as I have sent a lot of pipes your direction, then you could see for yourself. The "thing" does weigh more then a conventional pipe but what it adds in weight is easily overcome by the performance gains. Here is a video of a nova bonito in a serpent truggy, as well as a baja with a CY 26cc totally stock with only hand work (modified) and one of my pipes. The engine can only make X amount of power, ever see a baja pull wheelies downhill

Hey look on the bright side, everythings lubed up hehe.

@machine.... I too was skeptical about the pipe when i was looking for a new one. On all the different forums all i heard was great things about Robins pipes. So i decided to give it a try. WOW when i first fired up the ol XL the power was noticable. Even tho i run a modded picco this pipe was a perfect match for it. It complimented every aspec of the mods done to the engine. Yes i know i run a modded motor, but the power increase would be just as insane with a stock motor. Read around on this forum, savage-central, hpisavagefourm, rcmonster. Every where you read they all have great things to say about the ERCM pipe. If you ask its a no brainer!

They are very expensive I find, I would pay more like $80. It is also hard to believe someone home can beatall the other companypipe designs. I guess I would have to try it.
