uhhmmm, don't take your frustration out on the truck, if it won't start its something YOUR doing wrong. The savage is probably the best monster truck you can buy. my savage is by far the best truck i have ever bought and it gives me almost no problems at all. if you want help on getting it going then give more information. Is it new?

RE: savage x 4.6
i don't know what in the world hpi was thinking when they made the savage x 4.6 saying it is the toughest, strongest, most durable monster truck that isn't true all my savage does it sit cause it will not start. it was the biggest waste of money i have ever spent i need to sell the piece of crap and get it out of my sight before i take care of it myself.

Ok you are doing something wrong. or did something wrong...
How did you store it? did you store it with fuel in the line/tank/engine?
did you store it BDC every time you turned it off?
Is your glow plug good? Do you have the proper glow plug in it?
Is the engine tuned properly seeing its now cold out? You said you last touched it in summer...
In all honesty the engine in the savage is probably the most easy, and forgiving of mistakes nitro engine on the friggin market. If you can't get it working YOU are the issue. So don't go bashing a RC cause you have no idea what you are doing. Coming onto a savage forum, and calling the truck garbage is not going to get you a good response. IF you hate it so much sell it so someone who wants it, and knows what they are doing might get it.

RE: savage x 4.6
then sell it, ebay RCU classifieds get rid of it if you hate it so much you're not going to get any help if you keep whining about how bad it is, when people try to help you... it's like this...
you "my computer won't turn it, its stupid"
tech guy "did you plug it in"
you "my computer won't turn on and i hate it"
you see where this is going?
i'm sorry you're having trouple with your truck if you could tell us what you're doing and respond to syco's questions we'll help if not you're barking up the wrong tree
the lug

RE: savage x 4.6
maybe i should just practice with my savage and if things get broken in the process of tearing it apart it will be a learning process for me.

RE: savage x 4.6
You dont know how to tune a nitro so you bought one and let it sit? Sounds like your fault completely my savage engine has had zero problems. And its the same 4.6 one of the easiest engine to tune I have ever used. Instead of sitting on here bashing on it try and figure out whats wrong with it. and BDC stand for bottom dead center.

Ok daryl1980. Of its just turning and not starting check to see of the glow plug lights up. Take it out of the engine and plug the glow igniter to it to see if it glows. If that works then just take it back to the hobby shop so they can get out running and have them show you what they did so you can do it your self next time. If your serious about selling it for 200.00 bucks them send me a pm (private message) and I will be more than happy to take it off your hands.
