Default Just painted my stock wheels.

So I just painted my stock Savage wheels but before they go back on I have to rebuild the front suspension. In the mean time tell me what you think. All comments are welcome.

look pretty neat but from my experiences paint flakes off rims FAST, and leaves them looking like crap after

Do you think I should primer them first next time?

I didn't primer my rims when I painted them but I did clear coat them. That was about 7 months ago and they still look the same.

Here's a photo of one of the rims. It's hard to see but the center is painted black. They were in really bad shape as you can tell by the lip but they came out good.

They look nice. Thanks for the advise. I guess I'll go run down to the local Wally World and get can. Thanks again really appreciate it.

As long as the paint is flexible it should hold up fine. Spray paint for lexan works very well, I used some to write my address on my rubbermaid garbage can 7 years ago and it still looks good today.
