Is this truck really that much better than the traxxas emaxx 3908. And i don't run lipo just nimh as of right now. Can you run 2 8.4 batterys in it or no.

If you have the money you should get the Flux HP. The Flux HP can handle 6s and the Flux 2350 can only do up to 4s. You could run it on the NIMH but it will preform better using lipos.

Here is a video I did yesterday of my 10yr old son driving my Savage Flux HP. This is the first time he has ever driven it, He has a Savage XS. I personally don't think any other MT could handle the bashing that he did to my Flux.

Hey thanks for the info i ordered a new flux hp today it shoud be in on friday. I was going to get a e-maxx 3908 but after alot of reviews i guess the savage is the way to go is there any mods i need to do off the bat other than the tranny skid plate.Im going to start offwith nimh just becuse i haven't made the switch to lipo yetbut i have strong feelingit will be coming soon.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT run NIMH in your savage. There will be way too much ripple current using those and it can ruin the ESC. You can a set of lipo batteries and a charger from hobbyking for probably under 100 bucks. Its way cheaper than paying over 200 for a new ESC
