Big Bore shocks
I have a Savage X 4.6 with stock plastic big bore shocks. I was just curious as to which of the following options would be better for my truck (all out basher).
1.Putting on two plastic big bore shocks on each suspension arm.
2.replace my current big bore shocks to the aluminum version. But I would only have one on each arm.
Thanks!

RE: Big Bore shocks
I have a Flux 2350 and I have used the stock shocks for about a year with no problems. If it's not too expensive to add an additional shock to each arm, then go for that. Also, check out shock spring covers from badhorsie.com- they're pretty cheap and work very well.

RE: Big Bore shocks
If your into jumping keep the plastic BBs and grab some Red Hellfire springs, there the stiffest and fill your shocks with 35-40wt oil. Also adding the largest preload spacer will help alot. Ive jumped 25-30ft in the air and never broken a BB.
