When the red light is flashing it means operating correctly and safe to use. If the redlight is solid it means radio interference or low battery do not use. I got this info from google, just typed in venom fail safe instructions.

I haven't used one since I upgraded my radio years ago to a spektrum, they have it built in. A failsafe is a great investment in preserving your pride and joy.

What kind of radio is it? Sounds to me like the batteries on the radio need to be changed. Your fail safe is working properly if it goes to brake when you have radio interuption.

If it is an HPI radio and the lights blinking it means low batteries, change your batteries in radio.
