God the haters just dont stop. HPI please? When did HPI make a 2wd rear wheel driven Savage like yours?
The facts are, the aftermarket is a very lucrative industry. Thats because most of us are running more aftermarket parts then stock. My Savage , as well as many others , are running trucks that are merely representatives of the original product. To bring up that question is just ridiculous.

LL I'm not trying to be negative about your build ,fact is you are doing a great job on the build , I think you will break 100 mph with this truck ,it is the direction I'm taking my nitro truck as in the length for more stability , my concern is this concidered a savage flux now or just a 100 mph 4x4 electric r/c vehicle , it is 4x4 right ? Because my truck is 4x4, if some of the real haters out there would get their facts right they would know what they are talking about instead of ranting on about me . Someone should clue him in you don't need anyone to cover or stand up for you like someone's Daddy. LL hope u see my point. Yes we have been at each other in the past but we have alwase got threw it , we don't need someone adding fuel to a hobby we both enjoy , and that goes for pipedup also , seems James is using you to get to purenitro so carry on with you quest for speed n ill do the same .

Actually jimmy knows a lot about both of my speed trucks. The reason people do not think it looks like a savage anymore is because I have sealed the top of the chassis and chose to not run a body. It's looks mean as hell but it does look more like a car now. Truth is this truck is no different than any other savage with aftermarket tvps, I just made my own. No the truck is not 4WD it's RWD. I did this to save on rotational mass and I didn't feel like machining a dogbone. The idea behind this chassis design was to house everything inside of it for better protection.
Ive pretty much given up on both of you honestly. Do I want to see both of you run your truck, of course. Believe me I want to see what a modded nova has in it. It doesn't take much to set the truck up and make a run, most of the hard work has already been done. That's why I don't understand how it's taken almost a year for both of you to post up. Honestly everytime you both come at me and still have nothing to post you both look Like your just trying to mess with me now. If you want to focus on the trucks then quit jabbin me and go make some runs.
I dont ask jimmy to come to my aide, he's a grown man and does whatever he wants. If that's clown on both of you then that's what he's going to do.

Thx for the update
Great machining job
Savage Flux or not, I'm eagerly awaiting your next run (charger permitting) - I expect it be in a few months or is the weather still ok your side?

Ive hit 106 mph on 6s lipo on an efirestorm with a 2200kv tork motor and 150a xerun but you need gearing bigger than that.
im not sure what your internal ratio is but I had 31/34 pin and spur.
That truck I have no doubt will smash that speed like a flea, with that bigger gear, hek you could go 25/31 pin and spur.
either way its a very nice build and those guys can eat there cc xl2s.
ohh just seen how old the thread is and you probably know that already lol.
