Savage X 4.6 to Flux XL conversion
hi,
i did a lot of research here and on frech forums, and im getting confused...
i have a 4.6 savage X and im converting it to brushless.
i bought this kit :
with this i can change my X to XL lenght.
Next, i need a motor plate and motor mount (wich i will probably make myself out of aluminum angle) and a gear in the trans to allow brake and reverse.
What gear do i need ? part number ?
And last, i need battery box , is this all i will need ?
thanks for the help !

Its called the idler gear HPI100905
you might need to upgrade your outdrives, and axles along with the dogbones to HD as I rmeember on my .21 I converted I snapped the shafts easily. Not sure which your X has as I think later X's had the HD parts

There was actually a "flux conversion kit" which includes everything you need exept that you need it to be "XL" size. but could be a good reference which parts you need to get^^

When you find the various parts you need to make your X/XL bulletproof like the Flux, then the kit is the way to go. I bought it and even with the VAT on top of it (got it from the US), it was stilla cheaper option.
