Default *Sigh* Broken already

Got a Savage X 4.6 rtr from Savage hobbies for my birthday this year. I did the break in, then took it out to a parking lot to start tuning (with the body off). Got the low speed need to where the truck finally just took off as opposed to bogging for a second before going. It wheelied, flipped over, and hit the engine head really hard. How hard? Hard enough it bent the engine mounting plate and the beam underneath it. Engine revved like crazy before I could shut'er down, and it dropped the clutchbell down far enough it also shredded one of the brake disks. Oh well. New parts on the way from TH.

This is why I have always tried to run a body. Running without the body is risky to the internals of the truck.

Must have been quite a hit to do that. Any damage to the engine?

If you are going to run without the body id say adjust the body mounts higher. U risk breaking them but its probably gonna save other delicate things like your cooling head

Take the head off, inspect the crankcase closely. Better safe than sorry.
