Flux HP Durability Questions
Heya;
I’m a newish Savage Flux HP owner and was hoping for a bit of advice or insight into issues of durability.
After owning the Savage for a short time, and running it only several times, I decided to install the Wheelbase Conversion Set for Savage Flux (6061) and some Proline Big Joe 3.8” (40 Series) Mounted Tires (1103-13). Neither of which I have yet tested.
Note - To suggest I am proud of having managed the Wheelbase Conversion is understatement.
And later, scanning about the web, I find that the larger tires, if torqued in a crash, can cause damage to the suspension. So I wonder if I should perform any large tire specific damage avoidance modifications.
Also I discover I had in fact bent 2 of the Racing Cap Head Screws (M3x42) which connect the shocks to the shock tower. Has anyone else experienced this and has anyone a hop up?
Blessings,
Damon †
