Default Ofna PICCO .26 pull starter

What do you think is the best and strongest pull starter for the ofna picco.26 engine?

My roto start cant cope with the high compression.

Any ideas.

loosen your glow plug when starting (1/4 turn), tighten once its running. The compresion shouldn't be a problem if you do that.

Lol, thanks for that, i do that.

HOWEVER. I want a pull starter so that i can feel the compresion of the engine and it means i dont have to carry the rotostart around with me

Anyone know any good pull starters?

i had the same problem with my wasp, kept breaking strings. so after trying a few different strings/even a fishing leeder the one i'm using now is mini-blind repair string. incredibly strong and does not fray. i got mine at work but i'm sure that home depot or the like should have it. it is a thicker string (almost twice) as the stock string but i still can fit enough for a 12-18 inch pull.

i'm using the stock 21BB pull, re-wraped of course. i've had it on for two months now with absolutly no sign of wear.

what broke on the picco puller? you can re-string that one too, i did. if the end of the spring broke you can bend a new end to it as well.
