I just emailed nova rc products and they said the head comes with a button in built. is this correct and does this mean that I don't need to purchase a new button for my nitrostar 21 since I stripped mine out?

idk?? i was thinking of buying one of their heads now but i have turbo. i may not buy one now.

if it has one built in, you shouldnt need a new one.

I bought one for my .25 and it did not come with a button.

newbie question "button"?
obviously i know what regular "button" looks like but what does one on a head do?

the button is the head (not your cooling head) of the engine which the glow plug screws into. It fits ontop of your engine, covering the piston and sleeve. The cooling head normally screws on top of this.

Smitty70, thanks for the info. I'm getting really confused now, I emailed this question to nova:

"does the cooling head come with a button/underhead (it’s the part of the head that the glow plug screws into)?"

and got this reply
