My new IRC extended TVP+OFNA mid tank+LST shock X SS build. I have some 40 series Masher's now. The Mulcher's look tiny on this big beast! I used a Revo 3.3/MGT size body, which fits perfectly.

I busted my OFNA 250cc fuel tank today after landing upside down from about 10ft. in the air. There goes another $20 including shipping!

Yeah man! Elmira rocks! Our population is up to about 10 000. What's yours?

I was running a body, but the tank was full and the bottom smashed against the IRC tank plate and cracked it. The tank emptied out in hurry. I was a little worried because the receiver and steering servo are directly under the tank, but I think they are fine. The receiver box is sealed. I might put some foam under the next tank.

Ya Elmira here is a nice town of 65,000 so bigger than your Elmira but still a small town. I have that same TVP setup (IRC) for a couple of years now but haven't run it yet. I removed the white lettering though.

It's easy, there is no engine or servo's in it, lol. I'd imagine trying to run it would be rather uneventful.

Those are losi road rash tires. They are the same size as 40 series (losi 420), but the bead is narrower, so they don't stick well to actual 40 series or losi oversize rims.

All the plastic things that you painted red you should have dyed red using rit dye:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T4L0lXJOD8

Im not 100% sure if you can dye something black into red but you can ask the guy who made the vid.

They're kinda cool, they look like Interco TRXus ST's

i used the kershaw designs motor mount, they have a kit but i just bought the motor mount cause i was only using one battery for now, there really wasn't any real mods i had to do other than were i have the battery i wouldn't concider that a mod though i just basically cut the top off the battery box then drilled some holes in the side of it for zip ties., i plan on getting flux side tvps and flux battery boxes eventually but it hauls pretty good on just one 3s lipo.

when I re-convert mine this time I'll be using stock SavageXL chassis plates, and using the Kershaw Designs Direct Drive Center Transmission, as long as it still has a slipper setup....with the mamba monster setup, there's not a lot of need for the full transmission, it makes a lot more potential for rearranging things, and it'll give you much better throttle response and driveablilty....(no need for the throttle servo anymore because the transmission is direct drive and the motor becomes brakes and drive, as well as forward and reverse, it'll actually free up a lot of space and weight....I plan on running mine motor forward so I can drop my 6S LiPo in the rear with the ESC being mounted wherever I can find a safe spot for it....

kinda, except that kershaw direct drive with the motor mounted forward will do away with the radio box, and it'll have just a servo mount on the side of the TVP to handle the steering....

and if I can get the ESC, motor, and lipo all under the top of the TVP's I'll probably come up with a lexan top for the TVP's so that it all stays clean when mudding lol

I totally wanna get mine all sealed up so I can take it to the river and go mud bogging....and really trump the guys in their jeeps, since they've all got a serious dose of envy over my crawler too
