Default Roto Start repair

My roto start button has stopped working. When I push the button nothing is happening . What should I trouble shoot . There has to be a better solution than just buying a new one.

That button has low-current contacts not ideally suited to the unit. Buy a replacement for the switch, lots of folks have had them go bad so I know that there is a direct fit somewhere.

Same thing happened to me, just take it apart and put it back together, and it worked again

My status says I am a Junion contributor or what ever so I wont take the question as an insult . Of course I checked the batter . There is something wrong with the switch . I went to my LHS and he sold me a new one for 20.00

I read over on Sav. Central that there is a switch made by/sold at Radio Shack for maybe 4 bucks that will drop right in, same square-size button. I have not verified it, but I have no reason to doubt it.

Most switches come in a few standard sizes so you sould not have a problem finding a direct fit replacement.
