Buy an amphibi car or a boat , or you could just do as i ride in 1 inch of water at full speed. Looks cool though my throttle servo drowned and stayed at full power until i hit a tree. At that time my air filter was so full of water that the engine barely got air

you dip the whole thing. but more importantly make damn sure that your rx (thats the radio receiver inside the truck) does'nt get even a hint of moisture. stick it in a party size ballon and zip tie the end shut. i've even gone so far as to use black silicone sealer to seal the entire electronics box shut, all around the edges and don't forget the bottom.
protecting the air filter would also be a good idea, any water that gets splashed on it will be directly sucked into the engine resulting in a flame-out.

dip the servo. you don't need to dip more than an inch up the wire. don't dip the radio box, just seal it with silicone.

the servos are pretty sealed as they are, i don't know why some people dip them. i didn't and have never had a problem. if you want to you can just squirt some silicone around the spline shaft where it goes into the servo casing,

remember these things are trucks not boats, a splash of water or a shallow puddle is fine but any thing over the middle of the tires is to deep.

just get some water proof sealant stuff and get around where the sevo wires go into the servo case, where the servo wires go into the plug connector, get a receiver cover, make sure your antenna isnt exposed outside the antenna tube, get a switch cover if you're using on/off switch for power and cover the battieries in a balloon. the rx box is pretty tight and sealed, but water can still get in

I have to agree with 8000ft. The servos are pretty well sealed as they are. The receiver is the only thing you really have to worry about water proofing.
