hey guy i left my roto starter on my work bench last night after bashing with my car and i come back the next day and i c that the fucing button is pushed in i dried pulling it out and noting. i took the red buttton of and i saw a white little poll in there and i dried moving that and noting its colplete jammed what the **** could of cused this and how can i fix it

yes but paul is a ***** some times and they charge like 50 dollars for labor **** them i would rather get a new roto starter i like going there but i switchd to champion hobbies up the road and make a right on the lights by sears and a left on second ave

haha yea they can be morons....but usually pretty helpful just take it in and ask them to lok at it real fast....he might fix it right there...i know he soddered a new antenna wire on my friends right there no labor charges or anything

get hold of any 3A 125vac switch and solder it in place just make sure you connect the two wires the right way round or the starter will spin backwards!!!!!! 5min job..

That's what I did, just go to Radio shack, you can pick up a 3amp switch for less than $5. It will be better than the stock one anyway, I know a few people that their stock one just quit.

thanx alot yeah bt now its ****ing getto as hell this is what i do to get it starter
i just stick a little ass screw driver in the whole where the switch was so both of the wires conect and whoala we got roto power

If your still under warranty, than you might wanna try HPI. Just say that you were trying to start up your engine and your roto-start button got jammed & you pulled out your battery pack before it wore it down ne more. See if they will send you a new one, you might need to send them your recipt, just make a copy of it and send the copy in. Good Luck!

Now I know why I started going to slot car forums. The language is nowhere near as bad AND mods don't have to sticky threads quoting language & courtesy rules.

Get a pullstart. It'll either teach you to tune your engine right or make you feel manly from the callouses on your hands... after the blisters go away.

I have a Craftsman 12 volt cordless drill that I put roto start stickers on and WOLLLAAAHHH! New roto start; and yes, it does spin fast enough to start the s-25.

i had a bad dogbone in my kit, so i called them and they said send it to them and they will replace it, not sure what category that goes under. maybe cause i live in japan and there nice here.

I called them about my Pull start on my Savage SS. I started it for the first tank of break in and when I went to start it for the seconed tank the nylon rope on the pull started had melted in the middle. They said they normally don't warrenty the pull starts but they sent one out anyway. I don't normally dislike pull starters but this one has been crap. I have restrung the original with better nylon line but now I can't seem to get the wheel to stay on the spring for very many pulls. I think it's a lemon. I'm hoping the replacement one works better. In the mean time I put a new roto start backplate on and use the good ole Dewalt cordless to start her up.

Kamil, it's in Totowa off Rte 80. Take the turnpike to 80W and get off 80 at Union blvd. Make a right and it's about a mile up. Probably about 45 minutes from Somerville depending on how you drive.
