i had a bit of an accident while out bashing today, me and my friend(with his 3 day old savage) were having a long jump contest when disaster struck, not bad for saying i had it brand new 6 days ago (video's to follow when we work out how to upload them from his phone)

RE: ooops
this hapened to me about 3 mins after my friend did exactly the same thing on the same jump except he was lucky and only broke his angine mount, instead of ripping a chunk out of the crank case

RE: ooops
good job i had a spare thunder tiger pro .21 motor lying around till i can organise a new crank case, was a bit of a pain in the ass to get to fit but nothing my trusty drill and i couldnt sort out, cant wait to take it out for a run tomorow and see what it goes like, maybe it will even hold its tune for more than about 5 mins before it starts leaning out , i was running out of patience with that s 25 anyhow, tried dual tanks which didnt work then i tried sealing the carb neck with silicone which also didnt work, then i fitted a hyper 7 tank which did help but still didnt completely cure it

RE: ooops
well, i just got back from testing my revised setup (thunder tiger .21 pro engine) and i have to say im very suprised by the performance, its fantastic!!! it wheelies on tarmac and seems a LOT faster than the s 25 motor, ill run it against my friends ss tonight for conclusive proof
also my engine leaning woes are history, i just ran a tank through it and it didnt go above 250 from the very top of the tank(ofna tank) till right just before it ran out, looks like some good did come out of my little accident after all

RE: ooops
its probably had around half a gallon through it, im gonna keep it though and see if i can cure the leaning problem when i rebuild it by making sure its all properly sealed and air tight, in the mean time i will just keep running the TT pro .21 as it is faster than the s25 anyway
edit: plus i get to enjoy my savage the way it should be without the constant re tuning all the time
