Default Stock dogbones

hey guys,
are the savage 25 rtr dogbones strong enough to handle the stock 25 engine
i saw a t-maxx at mylhs today and it had monstrous cvds
twice as thick as the savages

YES! They are more than stron enough for most engines. You don't need CVD's.

my friends savage has broken both stock ones and the heavy duty ones. Of course that could e a result of having a locked diff. He ended up makin some out of 1/4in. steel and never had a problem since

Yes they are plenty strong enough, IMO they are just as strong as the HD bones.

Aren't the T-Maxx shafts hollow plastic??

Yeah the stock shafts on the maxx are plastic, but you can get metal CVD's which is what he is referring to.
