Savage Gearing
Ok I finally got my Savage running correctly after changing the 49 tooth spur gear to a 52 tooth metal one and now i have less power. If i change the stock fifteen tooth clutch bell to a 13 tooth one will there be a great change in power and how so? Top end or bottom end? I also swapped a lot of parts with aluminum parts did this add too much extra weight? I am also planning on installing the reverse module and dual disc brakes, is this a difficult process? RE: Savage Gearing
A: the 52 tooth spur will decrease top end but give you better bottom end, with the 13 tooth bell you will also lose top end but gain bottom end.
B:I would do the reverse moduale its realitivly easy to do just follow the instructions, as for disk brakes, just go with a battery hump pack, and stock brakes, thogether they are a lethal wepon, that will flip your truck when braking, and give you more control.
