how did you do this?
I am going to be upgrading to a hump pack in the next week or so. I was just wondering how everyone mounted the external charge lead.
do you just choose where you wont it to be and dremel a hole and let it hang out.
do you epoxy it in place or what?
If you have a pic that would help me decide what to do.
Thanks!

RE: how did you do this?
When I first did mine I just made a hole where the switch was and let the extra jack hang out of the radio box.Now I have a charge jack I put into the cover piece so nothing is hanging. You can see where I put the jack in the pic. The jack was about $3 from Tower and it works great!

Cool thank you for the reply and the pic. I will have to get a charge jack as well.
On a different note what kind of throttle and brake mod is that on your truck?
Your truck looks awesome!

Here ya go, I keep these files handy:
For the +,- plug in at the RX use the connector that is on the end of the stock AA holder. The "charge jack" is the end that comes on your hump pack and the end that connects to the charger.

RE: how did you do this?
I don't have the jack mounted into the box (although that is the nicest and cleanest way to do it). I just have a hole drilled high on the side of the cap and the charge jack (the connector that came on the hump pack) sticks through so tha tthe charger can be connected without opening the box...

a hump pack is a 5 cell, rechargable battry pack that replaces your 4AAs that u have in it now. it gives the servos more current, so they preform better, and because its rechargable, you dont have to always buy AAs. The charge jack lets you charge the pack with out having to take off the cover, which can be a pain in the as$. does anyone who has a charge jack have a pic of the inside of their reciver box?

RE: how did you do this?
I lost my radio box lid for a few weeks & ended up ballooning my receiver. I just let my charge cord hang out of what's left of the box. Sometimes I get real productive & shove most of it under the receiver plate. Most of the time it hangs dangerously close to my shocks. I like to live life on the edge. lol
