RE: ****...ss gas tank has no primer??
quite simply, pit you finger over the hole in the tuned pipe, and pull the starter a few times, if you have rotostart, pust the button. as soon as you see fuel reach the carb, through the lines, your ready to attach the glowstarter, and fire it up. or you can just take the hose off the tuned pipe and blow in the end. (not recommended due to toxic fuel) haha

60, primers are a major source of air leaks leading to erratic performance. After you fill your tank, put a finger over the pipe outlet, then roto-start ( or recoil start) the engine until the fuel line is filled. Usually only a couple seconds with the roto, or a couple pulls with the recoil.

If you are impatient pull the line off of the tuned pipe and blow through it; it's REAL quick.

i use the blow method, and i let the fuel reach the carb and then let some more go in the carb and it starts in less than a second.... most of the time

RE: ****...ss gas tank has no primer??
i use the put the finger over the exhaust tip method, but i also have another method, take like barely in fuel and poor it into the carb, but have enough to that when the carb is closed you have about half the inlet full, then open the carb to WOT, let the fuel in, close it up agian, start it, i can get my tnx started with this method in one pull. havent tried the savage yet, its been easy for me to start

I'm a huge fan of the blow method. It's got me through in a lot of "tight" situations.
